Updated On: Sep 20, 2007
UNION MEMBERS,
I would like to have an announcement sent to my clients and all the other union members at Waterford about a relationship that I just established with a world renowned economist and money manager, Dr. Charles Lieberman (see attachment). With the ever-changing financial industry, it’s important that I continue to broaden my knowledge and to align myself with someone of Dr. Lieberman's caliber. This will enable me to bring more value to the members of your union.

Dr. Charles Lieberman is Chief
Economist and Investment Officer for Advisors Capital Management, L.L.C.,
an investment advisory firm that provides managed asset programs,
consulting and marketing services for independent investment advisors,
CPAs, and other financial professionals.
A graduate of M.I.T. with a bachelor's degree in
economics, he earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of
Pennsylvania before beginning his career as an academic at the University
of Maryland and Northwestern University. After five years in academia, Dr.
Lieberman joined the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as head of its
Monetary Analysis Staff. Later, at Morgan Stanley and Shearson Lehman
Brothers, he focused on the debt and equity markets respectively. In 1986,
he joined Manufacturer's Hanover Securities Corp. as chief economist and

with Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan. During his nearly 12 years with
these banks, he worked intensively with the trading desks and clients and
sat on the Bank's Markets Committee, which was responsible for funding,
interest rate and currency risk management. He also traveled extensively
consulting with senior government officials and portfolio managers of some
of the largest financial institutions in the world.
