I HAD SOME QUESTIONS THAT I SENT TO THEM AND THESE ARE THE ANSWERS I RECIEVED.

Additions to the 4 page letter sent to all 25+ year former GE employees:
Under Medical Plan –
If Momentive cancels our medical benefits – We will need a HIPPAA letter stating loss of coverage. This will reactivate our GE insurance with no lapse – within 63 days of loss of Momentive coverage.
When we retire – Our retirement letter can be used to reactivate our GE insurance with no lapse. Provided that Momentive provides NO retiree coverage – again 63 day window.
Under Life Insurance – BOTH DEPENDENT AND / OR ADDITIONAL
To continue coverage you will need to sign up to make payments direct NOW.
If you do not enroll now, you cannot enroll at a later date.
ADDITIONAL LIFE CAN CONTINUE TILL DEATH
DEPENDENT LIFE CAN CONTINUE TILL DEATH OR REMARRIAGE
